I was just searching the online news the last hour,
and now I see all three** of the most recent white nationalist
shooters said Open Borders was a main reason they acted.
In fact, the Pittsburgh shooter even mentioned the
synagogue's support of HIAS (Hebrew Immigrant Aid
Society), which helps settle Jewish, but mostly non-Jewish,
immigrants.

The anti-Open Borders-type mass shooting was kicked off by
Anders Breivik of Norway. His shooting is to white nationalists
what the Columbine shooting is to would-be school shooters,
due to the large body-count, how how early it came in the
phenomenon of that particular type of shooting. Breivik's main
beef was about immigrants taking over the country. So, it leaves
little doubt that the white nationalist chant heard in Charleston:
"You / Jews will not replace us"
refers to liberals', MSM's, and Jewish support of Open Borders.
Of course, most people supporting Open Borders are not Jewish,
and many Jews don't support mass immigration, but nonetheless,
Jewish support for immigrants and Open Borders has been conspicuous.
Jews argue how could any Jew be against mass immigration given how
many Jews were lost to the Holocaust because of closed borders.
Also, people are surprised that Bernie Sanders, who's Jewish,
doesn't support Open Borders.
What's left unsaid, btw, is the old GOP (before Trump) was
pro-immigration, and even Open Borders. It was
the GOP that made it so, whenever Immigration Reform
came up, employers need not check whether work
documents were real, and they didn't have
to use e-Verify either. For decades hardly any
employer was fined much, or jailed, for hiring even
hundreds of illegal immigrants at a time. Many in the GOP
are still pro-immigration, but have gone silent in the age of Trump.
Of course, the mainstream media doesn't like to post
or link to the online screeds or manifestos of shooters,
but prefers to just characterize the rhetoric motivating the
shooters as being mere memes, hate, and conspiracy theories,
unworthy of further description or attention.

The MSM says white supremacists are just trolls who
are insincere about what they write, anyway. In other words, society
doesn't really need to know what they say or write, or even
argue with them, but just ignore them as though they were internet trolls.
However, the plotters and shooters are actually going to jail for life, or are
dying, for what they write, which is hardly what I would call insincere.

The public would be served by knowing
what the shooters' actual complaints are about. Otherwise,
the white nationalist shootings are lumped in with school
shootings, workplace shootings, mall shootings, etc., but
they have diverse causes and must be addressed differently.
Another reason the public needs to know the diverse
motivations is America's and the world's response to the
shootings are co-opted by various interest groups whose
misguided efforts don't actually help matters much at all.
For example, after Columbine there was a big anti-bullying
campaign in schools, supposedly because school shooters had
been bullied. In fact, the Columbine shooters, and most school
shooters, were never bullied in school. So after five years
of that effort, and when the school shootings didn't slow down,
it came out that most school shooters had never been bullied.
So other things had to be tried--like securing schools better,
better police protection, etc.
